Buy a bike helmet online: how to find your model

At KED you buy your bike helmet direct from the manufacturer. This page shows every bike helmet currently in our shop, and you can filter them by riding type and size. The quickest way to the right helmet is through the way you ride:

Features depend on the model. Some helmets have a built-in rear light, others a visor, a magnetic Fidlock buckle or Mips. If you are looking for one of these, start with the bike helmets with visor or the Mips bike helmets. Also check for the EN 1078 marking. It is the European standard for bike helmets, and you will find it inside the helmet and in the product details.

Bike helmets for women, men and kids

Sorting by women and men mainly helps with sizes and designs. For the fit, what counts in the end is your head circumference and head shape. You can browse bike helmets for women and bike helmets for men.

For children we make dedicated models in smaller sizes, from a first helmet for the balance bike to one for the ride to school. Some of them have a rear light or large reflectors. The product page shows exactly what is included. You will find all models under kids helmets.

The right size before you buy

Measure your head circumference with a tape measure about two finger widths above your eyebrows, where your head is widest. Compare the result with the size range on the product page. Sizes differ from model to model, so it is worth checking for each helmet. The KED size guide walks you through it step by step.

Shipping, returns and spare parts

Within Germany your helmet usually arrives in 2 to 4 working days. Standard shipping is free from an order value of €29, below that you pay €4.90. To other European countries shipping costs €14.90 and is free from €100. We ship with DHL GoGreen. You will find all details in the shipping information.

If the helmet does not fit, contact customer service within 14 days and quote your order number. For returns from Germany we send you a return label. For returns from other European countries we refund the purchase price minus a return shipping fee of €14.95. If you need a different size, simply place a new order for the helmet.
