    KED helmet wins Design & Innovation Award

    The KED Meggy Spark wins the Design & Innovation Award 2026. The jury tests the products in real-world conditions — that is why the award is considered one of the most meaningful seals of approval in the bike and outdoor world.

  • 2013 · KED Meggy Originals

    KED is the test winner of ADAC Motorwelt

    The KED Meggy Originals achieved the best test result in the big kids' helmet comparison by ADAC Motorwelt — grade "Good", 1st place out of 8. "The fit, adjustability and handling are consistently good; here the Meggy achieves the best results of the comparison test."

Every KED helmet meets the applicable safety standards. For higher speeds and special protection, we rely on additional standards and leading technology partners.

  • EN 1078

    European standard for bike helmets. The basis for the entire KED collection.

  • NTA 8776

    Stricter standard for S-pedelec and e-bike helmets. Met, for example, by the Pector ME-1 and Mitro UE-1.

  • Mips®

    Mips® safety system that can help reduce rotational forces in the event of an impact.

  • FIDLOCK® & BOA®

    Magnetic buckle and fit system for safe handling and a perfect fit.
