Race feeling with no compromise on comfort

The Paganini is developed for riders who want to combine maximum performance on long distances with lasting high comfort. The compact silhouette of the Race series delivers a modern, sporty look from 250g, while generous vents, cooling padding and an integrated glasses garage offer the highest comfort in every challenge. Reflective LED logos additionally increase visibility in poor light and add safety in road traffic.

The Paganini is available as a classic version and also with MIPS, and combines sporty performance with modern protection for ambitious road cyclists.

Questions about the Paganini RS-1

Does the KED Paganini RS-1 have Mips?

The standard Paganini RS-1 has no Mips layer. Its in-mold construction bonds the outer shell to the impact-absorbing EPS foam core. Choose the Paganini RS-1 Mips if you want the additional layer that allows movement during an angled impact.

Which Paganini RS-1 size should I choose?

Size M fits a head circumference of 54–58 cm and size L fits 58–61 cm. Measure around your head with the tape level, about two finger widths above your eyebrows. At exactly 58 cm, try both sizes and choose the one that feels snug without pressing.

How much does the Paganini RS-1 without Mips weigh?

The Paganini RS-1 weighs 250 g in size M and 300 g in size L. In either size, it’s lighter than the equivalent Mips version.

How do I adjust the fit of the RS-1?

Set the helmet level on your head and tighten the rear dial until it feels snug without pressing. The side straps should form a Y just below each ear. Fasten the chin strap, then shake your head to check that the helmet stays in place.

Where can I stow my cycling glasses on the RS-1?

The glasses dock is at the front of the helmet. Slide the arms of your glasses into the rubberised slots and check that they’re secure before you ride on.

How do I wash the Paganini RS-1 helmet pads?

Remove the pads and hand-wash them at 30 °C or below with a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Rinse them and let them air-dry. Put them back in the helmet once they’re completely dry.
