The Mips® safety system can help reduce rotational forces, and the K-FIT adjustment system with precise rotary dial and 360° head ring ensures a perfect fit. The click buckle with flap and the strap adjuster together provide safe and easy handling in everyday use. 8 ventilation openings keep the head comfortably cool, while the removable and washable inner padding ensures optimal hygiene. The LED rear light with reflector integrated into the K-FIT system guarantees active and passive visibility in traffic. Designed and Engineered in Germany.

The EPS-The inner shell of the KED helmets ensures maximum impact absorption in the event of a fall. The one integrated into the helmet shell Mips® Brain Protection System provides additional protection for the brain in the event of an oblique impact angle. The rotational forces that act on the brain in this case can cause brain damage. The low-friction shell of the Mips® Brain Protection System allows gliding of 10–15 mm in all directions at an oblique impact angle. The rotational forces acting on the brain can be efficiently reduced.

In-Mold-Technology

The In-Mold-Technology ensures a seamless and firm connection between the outer shell and the EPS-Inner shell. The prefabricated microshell is inserted into the shape of the inner shell and “welded” to it during the foaming process. This In-MoldThe process thus enables a “seamless design” – a design implementation without transitions and with the highest optical quality and contour sharpness. Furthermore, it is convincing In-Mold-Procedure due to extremely low weight with very high safety protection.
